Bach Stradivarius C180SL229G C-Trumpet W/ Reversed Leadpipe, Gold Brass Bell!

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius C180SL229G silver trumpet in the key of C.  This is Bach’s large-bore C trumpet with a 229 bell and 25R reversed mouth pipe giving you a great response and flexibility along with the brilliant, focused tone and projection of the 229 gold brass bell but somewhat richer and warmer than the more piercing yellow brass 229 you usually find. S/n 407XXX is around 1994-1995, and it looks hardly used at all:  silver plating is about 99.9% with little if any wear at all, and no significant dents, dings or signs of repair. I hate to use terms like “mint” or “near perfect,” but you’d have to look long and hard to find the slightest thing to complain about with this horn.  Has obviously been very recent chem or ultrasonically cleaned and had new piston felts installed, and we just further ran it throught the shop in October, 2026 where it was lubed, polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings and water key cork installed.  All tuning slides are free, and the valves are fast and smooth with excellent compression.  Plays very nicely with great slotting and an easily-accessible upper register.  Comes in the super nice Bach Artisan double case usually reserved for upper-end Bach’s. Available by special order only, but the the boring, stock version with the standard lead pipe sells for $4,489 at the "discount" M&A, so this one would likely be about $4,699 new.  So . . . snatch up the only one you will ever find available which happens to be in near-perfect condition, and still save more than $2,000!
