Bach Stradivarius LR180S37 Silver Trumpet

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius LR180S37 Bb silver trumpet. This is the standard, workhorse model 37 suitable for orchestral, marching, solo and pretty much any other use, but with the upgraded 25LR reversed leadpipe for decrease resistance and improved control.  This one is in very good condition:  silver plate about 95% with very little actual wear, but small, scattered dings and other imperfections left over from past dent removals.  As you can see in the photos, it’s a great-looking horn!  Unlike most of the trumpets you may be looking at, this one has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had new water key cork, piston felts, and stop rod bumper and nuts, and tuning slide O-rings installed.  Valves are fast and smooth and quiet, and compression on this horn is exceptional. All tuning slides free including the third-valve dump slide, which is so often stuck that many people don’t even realize it’s supposed to move.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a 7C mouthpiece and new ProTec microfiber cloth.  All in the zippered Bach hard case which is also in very good condition.  S/n 507XXX is too new for the published lists, but is likely around 2005 or so. A great, upgraded Strad for your advanced student, and in the best condition you’ll find online, and almost $2,000 less than brand new!
