Bach Stradivarius LR180S72 Silver Trumpet W/ Reversed Leadpipe!

 
One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius model LR180S72 in silver plate--a Bb, ML-bore horn with a couple of upgrades from the standard Strad:  all the darkness and power of a 72 bell with the open, centered feel of a #25LR reversed leadpipe.  Probably the fullest sounding bell Bach offers, with the best projection. It is in very good condition: Silver plating about 99.5% with little if any wear at all, and just the tiniest scratches and imperfections if you go looking for them.  It is a gorgeous horn as you can see in the photos.  Unlike most of the Strads you may be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new water key corks, tuning slide O-rings, stop rod bumper, and valve felts installed. Valves are fast with excellent compression and little to no wear. All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide. Valve oil and slide grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a mouthpiece brush, 5C mouthpiece, cleaning rod, new ProTec leather finger protector, and new ProTec microfiber cloth. All in the original, zippered hard case which is also in very good condition. S/n 576XXX is too new for the published lists, but is about 2002.  The nicest (and probably the only) reversed 72 you’ll find on the used market, and just in time for Christmas!
