Bach TR200S Silver Intermediate Trumpet!
One of several trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach TR200S Bb trumpet in silver plate. It is about as close to a Stradivarius as Bach ever made, using the same bore and same valve block, with the biggest difference being the two-piece rather than one-piece bell. It is almost exactly the same as the Bach Omega we have listed, and this is the version that even has the nice Omega engraving on the bell. It is in very good condition: silver about 95% with some wear mostly at the end of the leadpipe as seen in the photos. A few very small dings here and there if you go looking for them, but no significant dents, repairs, or other defects. Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new water key corks, valve felts, and tuning slide O-rings installed. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth, compression is very good. Note that this horn is oiled with SYNTHETIC oil, and you must use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a traditional oil. Includes a Bach 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, cleaning snake, mouthpiece brush, valve brush, and a very nice Tom Crown copper straight mute with small dents. All in the original hard case with normal external wear but structurally in good condition. A great intermediate horn for your advanced student without spending two grand on a used Strad—perfect for marching band, and just in time for a new season!
