Backun A Clarinet For Sale! Left F, MoBa Barrel, Cocobolo

One of several professional A clarinets we have for sale. This is a Backun cocobolo clarinet in A, serial number MB-4XX, 2013-2014. This is basically a MoBa A without the low F correction key. Per Backun, the low F was optional at that time due to some folks not wanting the extra weight, so they made a few without that key, sold them with a Fat Boy barrel and traditional bell, and called it the "Backun" model rather than a MoBa. This one does have a MoBa barrel, however. 
 
The wood is cocobolo even though it's aged a bit darker and could be mistaken for grenadilla. This is per the original owner, and if you look closely at the lower joint which is handled less you can still see the wide, brown wood grain. Ditto a small spot on the inside of the bore which at Backun's instructions I gently scored, revealing the chocolate brown underneath. 
 
It is in exceptional condition:  no chips, cracks or repairs, pads are all in excellent condition, plating about 99.9% with little if any wear at all. Just through our shop where it was regulated and brought into perfect playing condition.
