Buffet Crampon Conservatoire Clarinet

One of several Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale.  This one is a Conservatoire Model, sometimes designated the “C12.”  It is an intermediate model far better than the common E11, but at a couple thousand less than the professional R13.  The clarinet is in exceptional condition:  wood body just bore oiled, and is a nice, tight grain of grenadilla with no chips or cracks and nice, square tenons.  Nickel plating about 99% with a little cloudiness on the tips of some keys that will polish up with some elbow grease, but very little if any actual wear. All new pads installed January 2023, and the horn plays very nicely with an open feel, moderately warm tone, and excellent projection.  Includes a Vandoren 5RV Lyre mouthpiece, ligature, Buffet cap, and new swab.  Cork grease for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  Comes in the slim pouchette case with a nice case cover.  An excellent horn for your advanced student or as a backup to your main instrument, and more than $1,000 less than Buffet’s current intermediate E12F!
