Buffet Crampon Evette Wood A Clarinet! Valentino Overhaul, Double Case

One of several intermediate and professional A clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon Evette wooden clarinet in A. Made in France, likely in the same factory by the same folks as the R13's, rather than in the Schreiber factory in Germany where most of Buffet's intermediate clarinets were made. It is in exceptional condition: wood is a great billet of unstained grenadilla with a nice grain and no chips, cracks or repairs. Tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints. Nickel plaintg about 99.5% with little if any wear at all. Best of all, this one is just through the shop in August of 2025 where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, had all tenon corks replaced, and was repadded with Valentino Master's Series synthetic pads—one of the quietest, longest-lasting pads available. Plays very nicely across the entire instrument with excellent intonation and a dark, full-bodied tone. Key oil, bore oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a Woodwind Co. Educator mouthpiece in a G6 facing, ligature, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and a new SuperSlick chamois swab. All in a very good double case in good condition with the past owner's information just barely visible if you look very closely. And better yet, all in a brand-new Kaces padded case cover giving you extra protection, weather resistance, external pockets and storage, shoulder strap, and lots of swag. A great A clarinet in the best condition you could find—perfect to start off a new year of high school or college without spending $3,000 on an R13A!
