Buffet Crampon Professional Pre-R13 Bb Clarinet

 
One of several intermediate and professional wood clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon pro clarinet in Bb, s/n 45XXX. Buffet called it a Master Bore, but it is commonly referred to as a pre-R13. It is in very good condition:  there is a small chip on the edge of the middle tenon which is cosmetic in nature and not worth repairing, and the bell had cracks that are repaired very nicely and almost impossible to see from the outside. The keys are solid nickel silver rather than nickel plate and won't polish up quite as shiny as plated keys, but have an advantage in that they will never wear! All new pads and all new tenon corks installed by the prior owner just prior to our purchasing it, and it is just through our shop in August of 2026 where it was bore oiled and had some minor adjustments to bring it up to excellent playing condition. Cork grease and bore oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a mouthpiece, ligature, cap, Rico ReedGard with three Vandoren Rue 56 reeds, a new ProTec microfiber cloth, and a new SuperSlick chamois swab. All in a good hardcase with three latches for extra security.  A great, professional clarinet at the same cost as most of our intermediate instruments—perfect for your advancing student, and just in time for the new school year!
