Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet--Ferree's Cork Overhaul!

One of several Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale. This is an R13 in Bb, s/n 2393XX, 1983. It is in excellent condition: vintage grenadilla body with a nice, tight grain and no chips, cracks, or repairs. Tenons are square with no wobble between joints. Silver plated rather than nickel, which is about a $520 upgrade, and nearly 99.5% intact with little plating wear if any at all, and with a nice, dark patina that we’d decided to leave unpolished. Unlike most of the used clarinets you may be looking at, this one is just out of the shop in April 2024 where it was cleaned, bore oiled, had all new tenon corks installed, and both joints redone in a combination of Ferree’s premium cork pads and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double bladder, pressed felt pads.  Plays very well across all registers with a quick, crisp feel to the keywork and a very dark tone with moderate resistance and excellent projection. Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new chamois swab and the slim pochette case—perfect for bags and backpacks.
