One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 in Bb.  S/n 427XXX is far too new for the published lists, but it is 1996 or 1997.  It is in exceptional condition:  wood body has minor wear but no cracks, pins or other repairs.  Silver plated rather than nickel (a $570 upgrade) about 99% with just the lightest wear.  Unlike most of the clarinets you may be looking at, this has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, polished, had the center tenon cork replaced, and was repadded with Valentino Master’s Series synthetic pads—one of the longest-lasting, quietest pads on the market.  Plays delightfully with excellent intonation and a soft, even feel to the keywork.  Includes a Buffet 120V mouthpiece in an F3A facing, Buffet cap, and a ligature.  All in a brand-new Kaces case with backpack straps and zippered external pocket.   Currently selling at WWBW for $4,768, so snatch up one of the nicest R13’s you’ll find on the used market, and save almost $2,000!
