Buffet Crampon R13 Greenline Bb Clarinet--Cork Overhaul, Deluxe Case, Nice!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Greenline clarinet it Bb.  It is in exceptional condition:  crack-resistant body has no chips, cracks or repairs. Silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear at all. Note also that this is silver rather than nickel—a $552 upgrade—and has such a nice, dark patina that we decided to leave it completely unpolished.  It would respond quickly to a polishing cloth if you prefer it bright and shiny.  Unlike most of the clarinets you may be looking at online, this one is just through the shop where it had one tenon cork replaced and all new pads installed—both joints in a combination of Ferree’s premium cork pads and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads.  The result is a crisp, clean-feeling action and a full, bold, warm tone with excellent intonation in all registers.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a Buffet 125 mouthpiece in an F3A facing, ligature, three Vandoren 3.5 reeds, and a new Conn-Selmer bore swab.  All in the deluxe Buffet leather attaché case with gold hardware.  S/n 441XXX is far too new for the published lists, but will be 1998. An excellent, weather-resistant horn—perfect for your student in high school or those days when you don’t want to take your main R13 out in the cold.  Sells new for $4,768, so snatch up the nicest you’ll find on the used market, and save more than $2,500!
