Buffet Crampon R13 Prestige Clarinet W/ C. Robert Scott Barrel!

Buffet Crampon R13 Prestige Bb clarinet for sale. Excellent condition with minor wear and scratches from careful use, but no cracks, chips, or repairs. Metal-capped tenons to resist cracking, left-hand alternate Eb/Ab lever to facilitate some of those tricky passages. Almost zero wear to the silver plating.  All new Ferree’s B17 du Jour double-bladder, pressed-felt pads on the lower, and Ferree’s premium cork on the upper.  S/n 2859XX puts it at 1986.  Includes a Prestige 65mm barrel, and also a sought-after C. Robert Scott 66mm A2 (?) barrel which alone is worth about $150, and which really opens up the color and tightens the intonation of the instrument.  (Scotty passed away in 2018, and these are becoming impossible to find.)  Plays very nicely across the entire horn, with a medium warm tone and a lively, responsive feel.  Also includes a silk swab and a new Leblanc bore oiling swab.  Cork grease and bore oil are for local pickup only; they can’t be shipped due to postal regulations.  All in the very nice, leather attache case with programmable combination lock and music storage compartment.  $6,990 if you purchase new from the Buffet website, so . . . snatch this one up before the back-to-school rush, get a really great barrel, and still save almost $4,000!
