Buffet Crampon R13A Clarinet

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13A.  It is in very good condition:  plating about 99% with just a little wear on one ring as seen in the photos.  Bell has been cracked and repaired so nicely that you probably would never have noticed, and it’s hard even to capture in the photos.  No other cracks or repairs on the remainder of the clarinet.  Tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints.  Just through the shop where it was bore oiled and had all new tenon corks installed along with all new Valentino Master’s Series synthetic pads on the lower—one of the longest-lasting, quietest pads available.  Upper joint was last done in cork, and all are still in good condition and seal nicely, so we saw no reason to redo it.  It plays very nicely across the entire instrument with little resistance and a dark, solid tone.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new SuperSlick chamois swab and new ProTec microfiber cloth.  Comes in an upgraded $569 pochette double case with zippered cover—the latter another $246.  S/n 569XXX is far too new for the published lists, but it will be either 2007 or 2008. Sells new at M&A for $4,525, so snatch up one of the newest you’ll find on the used market, and still save about $2,000!
