Buffet Crampon R13A Clarinet--Overhauled, Silver & Gold Plate!

One of several A clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13A (key of A).  It is in exceptional condition:  wood is an excellent billet of aged grenadilla with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  Tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints.  Silver plated keys about 98% with just a tiny bit of wear, and note that silver is a $520 upgrade over the more common nickel.  Better yet, this one has gold-plated posts—who knows what that cost someone, and it is absolutely gorgeous.  S/n 136XXX makes this a 1973—right in the middle of Buffet’s Golden Era, and one of the most desirable vintages ever.  All new pads and tenon corks, bore oiled, plays superbly with a dark tone and excellent response across the entire instrument.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only, but it does include the brand new instrument cleaning cloth and new Conn bore swab.  All in the deluxe, leather attache double case with gold hardware, a replacement handle, and one key.  Currently selling for $5,343.97 at WWBW without the gold-plated posts.  One of the nicest A’s you’ll find from one of the most sought-after periods ever in the best condition imaginable, and just in time for that tax refund!
