Buffet Crampon R13A Clarinet With ProTec Double Case

We are pleased to offer for sale this Buffet Crampon R13A professional clarinet. Note that this is in the key of A rather than Bb.  It is in exceptional condition:  Wood is a nice, tight grain with no chips, cracks or repairs; tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints, nickel plate is about 99.9% with no noticeable wear.  Appears to have been very well overhauled within the past couple of years, with long-lasting, beveled cork pads on the upper joint, and a combination of cork and bladder on the lower.  Shop adjusted, plays very well in all registers, moderately warm and with a quick, crisp feel to the keys.  S/n 423XXX is far too new for the published lists, but would be about 1998.  Comes with a new Leblanc bore-oiling swab. Key oil for local pickup only and cannot be shipped. All in a very nice ProTec double case with strap which alone sells for $184.  Likely the newest and nicest A clarinet you’ll find on the used market, and at more than $1,600 less than brand new!
