Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction Bb Clarinet!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a super-rare Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction clarinet in Bb.  It is in excellent condition:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs and good, square tenons with no wobble between joints. Plating about 99% with little if any wear at all.  Just through the shop where it was bore oiled, had all new tenon corks installed, and was repadded in the traditional manner with a mostly cork upper and the lower in a combination of cork and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads.  Plays even across the entire instrument with a huge, dark sound and a crisp, easy feel to the keywork.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new SuperSlick chamois swab and the slimline pochette case.
This is the rarest of all the Buffet models, made roughly 1964-1970, but only sporadically, with only a few examples known, and fewer still this side of the Atlantic. I’d be surprised if you can find ten of them in the States. It was not available in the U.S, and was offered as a jazz alternative to the European S1, BC20, and Continentales of the time. S/n F126XXX, 1972, right in the sweet spot of Buffet’s Golden Era.  A great instrument for solo and ensemble which will give you bragging rights across the entire section.  Because let’s face it: neither you nor your professor friends new the SDA even existed!
