Conn 88H Tenor Trigger Trombone--Serviced, Nice!

One of several intermediate and professional trombones we are offering for sale.  This is a Conn 88H tenor trombone with F-attachment.  Serial number is hard to read and may have one more letter before what I can read, but seems to be R-12301.  It is in excellent condition:  Lacquer is about 99% on the bell section with just very small dings and imperfections left over from minor dent removal.  Note this is also the version with the warmer, more resonant rose brass bell.  Slide section is about 80% with a little wear on the tubing and then just the usual wear on the gripped sections.  Apologies for the reflections--much of the spottiness in the bell is the trees above, and the line that looks like a repaired dent is actually my pant leg. This site severely limits photos, but additional are available on request.  All tuning slides are free, trigger is fast and smooth with no problems, main slide has a tiny spot of wear but is aligned and glassy smooth with springs present.  New bumper and water key cork just installed, lubed, polished, trigger adjusted.  Plays delightfully.  Comes in what is likely the original case with a broken corner and missing a little piece off one end, but still mechanically sound and protective.  Tuning slide grease and slide cream are for local pickup only, but it does include the cleaning rod, cleaning snake, and mouthpiece brush.  No mouthpiece with this one because we have hundreds for sale separately.  A great-looking, perfect-playing horn that will be perfect for your advancing student through high school and college.  MSRP $5,410, usually sells new for $3,550, so snatch this one up, and save more than $1,600!
