F. Loree Conservatory Oboe--Overhauled!

of several professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is an F. Loree full-conservatory oboe. Likely to be a standard-bore instrument. S/n GExx makes it 1982 per a quick e-mail to Loree. It is in exceptional condition: no chips, cracks, repairs or bore damage at all, even in the usual places. Cleaned, bore oiled, polished and lubed in November 2023 with all new pads installed in a combination of Ferree’s premium cork and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur pads, and tested one by one on a magnehelic to assure a perfect seal.  Completed by Nick Thompson of Tip Top Oboes—formerly with Onks Woodwind Specialists—where it had another $400 worth of perfection done to it, including cleaning and sealing the octaves, adjusting any key issues, adjusting spring tensions, etc.  Per Nick, “The G-series plays amazing.”  Includes the slim pochette case and zippered case cover.  If you prefer a new case, we have ProTec zippered and ProPak cases in stock.
