Getzen 896S Silver 4-Valve Professional Flugelhorn!

 
One of the nicest flugelhorns we have in stock! This is a Getzen 896S four-valve professional flugelhorn in silver. It is near very good condition:  silver about 95% with some wear mostly around the fourth valve as seen in the photos, and some scattered, small dents and signs of dent removal.  It could probably be prettied up by your favorite brass tech, but as you can see, it’s a bright, shiny, great-looking horn. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and quiet with almost no wear at all. 0.460” bore, 6.5” yellow brass bell, nickel silver valve pistons. Plays all smooth and buttery with a gorgeous, mellow tone. Similar to the more common 895, but that fourth valve lets you play lower, gives you lots of alternate fingerings, and helps fine-tune notes similar to a trigger. Includes a 3C mouthpiece, Yamaha polishing cloth, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and the original hard case in exceptional condition. Slide grease and Al Cass valve oil are for local pickup only and cannot be shipped. If you already have a case or prefer a different case such as a ProTec double or triple or Reunion Blues leather bag or RB Voyager triple case, please let us know.
