Getzen Eterna 895S Silver Flugelhorn

One of several professional flugelhorns we are offering for sale. This is a Getzen 895S silver Bb flugelhorn for sale. Unlike most of the flugelhorns you might be looking at, this one is just through our shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned with a little residual that will come off with your next ultrasonic clean, detergent cleaned, had dents removed mostly along the bell bow, was lubed, hand polished, and had all new water key corks, piston felts and cap felts installed. Scattered marks and imperfections from dent removal and a couple very small dents in places where I didn't feel like breaking out the Roth tool to get to them, but nothing big. Silver plating about 85% with wear around the valves which would be covered by a leather valve protector if I had one that fit, and a few other spots as seen in the photos. All tuning slides free, valves have some wear and pitting but are fast and smooth and quiet and compression is surprisingly very good. Plays nicely with a warm, silky tone and excellent intonation. Comes in a very nice Getzen double combo case with room for your trumpet or lots of mutes, stands and other accessories. Mouthpieces are a personal choice so we sell them separately, have dozens available and are happy to combine shipping. Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a nearly new silver polishing cloth. A great pro flugel with a huge sound—perfect for trumpet doublers—and more than $1,000 less than new!
