Getzen Eterna 895S Silver Flugelhorn--Just Serviced, Gorgeous!

One of several professional flugelhorns we are offering for sale.  This is a Getzen Eterna Model 895S Bb flugelhorn in silver plate. It is in excellent condition:  plating about 99.9% with little if any wear at all, a couple very tiny dings left over from light dent removal, and some unevenness on the bell near the first valve wear I didn't have the right sized mandrel to make it smooth, but any larger brass shop will be able to make this almost perfect in about ten minutes.  Just lubed, polished and play tested. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth and quiet with very little wear at all, compression is excellent, Amado water keys all working properly. This horn plays very well with a smooth, silky tone and tight intonation and is super popular for trumpet doublers. Comes in a near-perfect ProTec bag with lots of external pockets and integrated backpack straps. Valve oil and slide grease are for local pickup only, but it does include the very nice K&M in-bell stand.  As mouthpieces are a very personal preference, we do not include them with out instruments but have dozens of flugel mouthpieces available separately and are happy to combine shipping. Sold for $2,745 when you could find one, which you pretty much can’t these days. A great horn suitable for orchestra or jazz, one of the nicest you'll ever find on the used market, and still about a thousand dollars less than new!
