Inexpensive Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet

Inexpensive Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet

One of our least expensive Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinets.  This one is too new for the published lists, but s/n 4385XX puts it at either 1997 or 1998.   It is in very good condition except for repaired cracks in the bell as seen in the photos; hence the cheap price.  Options for this would be to let us upgrade you to a MOBA or Walter Grabner bell for an additional cost; wait for a used bell to show up on eBay; enjoy the savings and use the included bell, which is repaired so nicely that it will likely never be an issue. The remainder of the instrument is in very nice condition:  silver plate about 99.9% with little wear if any at all, no other chips or cracks, pads recently replaced by a shop in Japan and all looking very new, just through our shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, and tweaked slightly to bring it into superb playing condition.  Note that this is silver rather than nickel plate—a $520 upgrade.  Includes a hard rubber mouthpiece which is almost certainly a Vandoren with the logo faded off, pad savers and mouthpiece saver, new swab, ligature, and new Leblanc bore oiler.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and cannot be shipped.  Comes in a pouchette case with zippered cover and strap.  A great-playing horn in great condition, perfect for your student’s first professional clarinet, and at almost $3,000 less than brand new!
