Inexpensive Conn 88H Artist Symphony Tenor Trigger Trombone
One of several professional trombones we are offering for sale. This is a Conn 88H Artist Symphony large-bore tenor trombone with F-attachment. I’m unable to find a serial number on this in any of the usual places, and we sell several per year and know where to look. It is in good condition: lacquer about 90% intact with general scratches and wear and signs of past dent removal, and some spots on both sides of the bell where we had to clean up some kind of residue and the finish came off with it, but the brass underneath polished up nicely. No significant dents or problems. This site greatly limits photos, but several more can be seen on eBay, though it's more expensive there. All tuning slides are free, trigger works well, slide stockings are exceptional and the slide works smoothly and without resistance. New water key cork installed, slide bumper intact, spring barrels present and intact. Comes in a vintage leather gig bag with external zippered pocket and shoulder strap. The most popular professional trombone for decades, perfect for everything from symphonic work to marching band, and more than $1,700 less than new!
