Larilee Full-Conservatory Wood Oboe W/ Left F & 3rd Octave Key!

One of several intermediate oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Larilee full-conservatory model, all-grenadilla instrument.  Unlike almost every other Larilee you might be looking at—most of which are student models missing several important keys—this one has all the same keywork as the most advanced, professional oboes:  full-conservatory including the all-important left F, split D/D# trill, other extra trills, banana key, articulated C#, F-resonance, low Bb and Bb vent, and even the third octave key!  It is in very good condition:  Silver plate about 97% with just a very little wear, most of which might actually polish up at its next overhaul.  The bell has been cracked and repaired so nicely that you probably wouldn’t have noticed if we hadn’t told you, and will never be a problem.  No cracks or repairs in the upper or lower joints, and no bore damage.  While we usually overhaul all our oboes, this one is actually just back from service by Ko Kaiden—a premier double reed specialist--and plays exceptionally well just as it is.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does Include a brand new silk swab and two reeds.  Original hard case with some external wear, and best of all—a brand new, $79 Kaces LUXE series weather-resistant padded cover with strap, lots of zippered storage compartments, and bunches of swag!  A full-featured oboe serviced by one of the best oboe specialists in the country--perfect your very advanced student, and at thousands of dollars less than the most basic student Fox or Yamaha!
