Rare Leblanc L7A Clarinet W/ Cork Overhaul, Double Case

We are pleased to offer for sale this Leblanc L7 clarinet in A!  This was Leblanc’s professional model before the L70--a step above the LL models—designed to compete with Buffet during their golden years with a conical bore, slightly smaller tone holes, a metal-capped upper tenon, and gold-plated wire springs throughout.  It is in exceptional condition:  Wood is a nice, heavy billet of grenadilla with no chips, cracks or repairs.   Middle tenon is nice and square with no wobble between joints. Silver plate about 99.9% with no noticeable wear.  Just through the shop where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, hand-polished, and had all new Ferree’s A54 cork pads installed on the upper, and a combination of cork and Ferree’s B17 De’jur double-bladder, pressed felt pads on the lower.  A sweet-sounding, responsive, and easy-to-play clarinet without sacrificing tone color or dynamic flexibility.  Comes with a Leblanc 2L mouthpiece (I’ll put a new cork on this prior to shipping), Leblanc ligature, and cap. Cork grease for local pickup only. All in a vintage Selmer double case which is also in excellent condition.  A hard-to-find A clarinet to match your Bb, and at half the cost of a used R13A.
