Recent Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet--Serviced & Ready!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in nickel plate. The serial is difficult to read, but appears to be 6577XX which would make this a recent 2013-2014 instrument, and is consistent with the "R13 B" markings on the bell and the adjustable thumb rest, both not found on earlier R13's. It is in excellent condition: wood body has no chips, cracks or repairs and squared tenons with no wobble between joints. Nickel plating about 96% with just a little wear mostly on the rings as seen in the photos, but only visible on close inspection. Unlike most of the clarinets you may be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it was bore oiled, had two new tenon corks installed, and was repadded with Valentino synthetic pads--a quiet, reliable pad that will last far longer than traditional bladder pads. Plays delightfully from top to bottom with a huge, dark sound, lots of projection, and a soft, even feel to the key work. Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include the large Buffet polishing cloth, new SuperSlick chamois swab, a Vandoren 5RV Lyre mouthpiece, cap and ligature.
