Rigoutat Professional Wood Oboe W/ Left C#, 3rd Octave Key!

One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Rigoutat professional wood oboe, s/n 10XX. It is in exceptional condition:  all-grenadilla body with no chips, cracks, pins, repairs or bore damage at all. Silver plating about 99.5% with little if any wear at all. Includes many keys not found on beginner and many intermediate oboes:  low Bb, low Bb vent, F-resonance key, C/D trill, D/D# trill, G#/A trill, right G#, articulated C#, left C#, and even the third octave key! Just through the shop where it was disassembled, cleaned, hand polished, lubed, bore oiled, had new tenon corks installed, and was repaddded with Ferree's premium cork pads except for the three largest pads, which are of course double bladder, pressed felt. Regulated into excellent playing condition; ready to play right out of the case if you're picking it up, may need very minor adjustments after shipping depending on how many potholes the driver hits. Note that the corks were purposefully left a tiny bit tight to allow for compression, so I would not force the two tenon caps on all the way until they loosen up a bit. Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a reed holder with three  vintage reeds which are likely not usable, a new ProTec microfiber cloth, and new silk bore swab. All in the original slim pochette case with zippered case cover. An exceptional oboe with lots of extra keys for your advanced student or as a backup to your main instrument!
