Schilke C trumpet S22C

Very nice C trumpet for sale!  This is a Schilke S22C—a large bore horn with a #2 reversed leadpipe which is free-blowing with a nice, rich core of sound.  Slotting is very good, and intonation as well:  similar to most Bach C’s, only the usual culprits need any manual adjustment.  Much more open than a Bach 239/25.  Excellent condition:  Very tiny dings or scratches here and there with no real dents, no sign of bell work or other repairs, and just some light finish wear on the valve casings as seen in the photos.  (And we’re including a Leather Specialties valve guard to keep this from happening again—the absolute best valve guard made.)  All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and quiet with extremely good compression:  you can hardly remove a tuning slide without depressing a valve.  Original hard case included.  The perfect horn for orchestral work or church solos!
