Selmer 101 Intermediate Wood Oboe--Full Conservatory! Left F, Low Bb & More!

One of several oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Selmer Model 101 intermediate wood oboe. It is a full conservatory instrument with many keys not found on beginner and even some intermediate oboes:  low Bb, F-resonance, articulated C#, split D/D# trill, other extra trills, banana key, and the all-important left F key. It is in excellent condition:  all wood body with no cracks, chips or bore damage, and silver plate about 95% with very little wear at all. As you can see in the photos, it’s an great-looking instrument. Best of all, it is just through the shop in July 2026 where it was bore oiled had any necessary pads, tenon corks and key materials replaced, and was regulated into exceptional playing condition. Plays very nicely across the entire instrument with a light touch and little resistance. Note that oboes hate planes and delivery trucks, so if you're having this shipped it may need very minor adjustments on arrival. Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth, new silk bore swab, LaVoz reed holder, and and the original hardshell case which is also in excellent condition. (And if you prefer a new ProTec soft or slim case, we have those available as well! A great instrument for your advancing student, far better than the one you're renting, and thousands less than most intermediate oboes with similar key work!
