Selmer Paris professional wooden English Horn

We are pleased to offer for sale this excellent Selmer Paris English Horn.  It is in beautiful condition:  There is one repaired crack in the top of the upper joint which was pinned prior so beautifully prior to our ownership that I can’t even find it to photograph it, and it wouldn’t show up in the photos, anyway.  There is one very short crack in the socket of the lower joint which was repaired in our shop, and is also almost invisible.  There is a metal tenon socket at that point, so this crack is non-weightbearing and will never be an issue.  Wood is well-oiled and well-cared for.  Little if any wear at all to the silver plating.  Pads are all in good condition, and it has just been through our shop with a couple of pad replacements and a full adjustment.  Seals perfectly with no leaks, excellent compression, should play very well with no issues, might need minor adjustments as we are not able to play this on a professional level to test it as it deserves.  Comes with bocal, strap, swab, and in an excellent hard case with case cover.  An excellent, professional horn at thousands less than most intermediate models, so snatch it up before the back-to-school rush!  (This example sold for $2,419 plus shipping in March 2020.)
