Selmer Series 10 Professional Clarinet W/ New Pads!

One of several intermediate and professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Selmer Series 10 clarinet in Bb. S/n X98xx makes it 1978. This one is in exceptional condition:  nickel plating a little cloudy in places but about 99.9% intact with little if any wear at all. Wood is a great billet of aged grenadilla with no chips, cracks, or repairs and squared tenons with little wear at all. Just through the shop where it was bore oiled, had two new tenon corks installed, was repadded in a combination of Tru-Seal Prototype and Valentino Master's Series synthetic pads, and adjusted to remove lost key motion and bring it into excellent playing condition. Plays very nicely across the entire instrument with an easy feel to the keys and little resistance—a bit different than a Buffet with a tighter, more focused feel and a bit brighter, more lively tone. Bore oil, key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth and new SuperSlick chamois swab. All in the oversize Selmer case with lots of room for accessories, and as an added bonus—a brand new Kaces case cover giving you even more storage, a shoulder strap, padding and protection, and weather resistance. A great S10 from a great period in the nicest condition you'll find available!
