Silver Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in silver plate.  S/n 210XXX makes it a vintage 1980 horn, and it is in exceptional condition:  silver plate about 99.5% with little if any wear at all, and note that this is silver rather than nickel—a $340 upgrade and harder to find on the used market.  Wood is a great billet of grenadilla with no chips, cracks, or repairs and good tenons with no wobble between joints.  Best of all, it has just been through the shop where it was bore oiled and repadded with all new Valentino Master’s Series synthetic pads—one of the longest-lasting, quietest pads on the market. Valentino silencers installed on the LH pinky keys make it an even quieter, smooth and balanced action.  Plays nicely with a bold, dark tone and little resistance.  Cork grease and Leblanc key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth and new SuperSlick chamois swab.  All in the Buffet pochette case with zippered case cover.  The perfect clarinet for a new year at conservatory in about the nicest condition you could hope to find, and more than $2,000 less than brand new!
