Silver Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet W/ All New Pads!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in silver plate.  S/n 550XXX is too new for the published lists, but is likely around 2005.  It is in very good condition:  The bell was cracked and has been repaired so nicely that you likely wouldn't have noticed it for a very long time.  No other chips, cracks or repairs.  Tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints.  Plating is about 99.9% with little if any wear at all, and note that this is silver rather than nickel--a $350 upgrade vs. the more common nickel plate.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, and had all new pads installed with both joints in a combination of Ferree's premium cork and Ferree's B17 de'Jur double bladder, pressed felt pads.  Plays very well across the entire instrument with a balanced action, excellent intonation and dark tone.  Bore oil, key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth, new SuperSlick chamois swab, and adjustable thumb rest.  All in the slim pochette case with a repaired handle, and the zippered case cover with frayed handles and missing the pull tabs on the zippers, but you can still pull them easily with your fingers and zip it up.  Sells new at M&A for a whopping $4,552, so save more than $2,500, and snatch up a newly-serviced, silver instrument just in time for the new school year!
