Vintage 1960's Getzen Eterna Severinson Model Silver Trumpet

One of several intermediate and professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Getzen Eterna Severinson model Bb trumpet in silver.  S/n SK2XXX makes this roughly 1964-1967—a great vintage Severinson from one of the Getzen's most sought after periods ever!  This one is just serviced and plays fine but has lots of wear and repairs and is priced at hundreds less than the ones from this period usually sell for. Silver plate has significant wear as seen in the photos, much of which is covered by the included, brand-new ProTec six-point leather valve protector. Someone patched a small hole in the bell tail with some kind of clear epoxy—an unorthodox solution but it appears crazy solid and held up against all the dent removal and service we just did in August 2026 when it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, had several dents removed, bell bow straightened as well as practical without completely removing it (but you can see it's still a little crooked,) loose braces resoldered, the small brace between the leadpipe and 2nd valve removed, tuning slides freed, valves serviced, and new piston felts, water key corks, third valve slide adjustable finger hook and tuning slide O-rings installed.  The little pull knob is missing off the second valve tuning slide, but serves no purpose and looks fine if you just turn the valve backward. All tuning slides are free and functional. Valves are fast and smooth with no problems and very good compression. Tuning slide grease and valve oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include an older 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, the ProTec leather guard, and a slim hard case in good condition. Not the best-looking horn up close, but still bright and shiny and silver from the judges' stand, and a great-playing, full-on professional horn at less than the cost of most intermediate trumpets!
