Vintage 1962 Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet

One of several Buffet Crampon Bb R13 clarinets we are offering for sale:  s/n 707XX makes this a nice, vintage horn at 1962.  It is in surprisingly good condition:  wood is an excellent, heavy billet of aged grenadilla with no cracks, chips or repairs.  Nickel plating about 95% with a little wear through the first layer, mostly on two of the right-hand pinky keys as seen in the photos.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, and had all new pads installed.  Plays with a very dark, centered, more open than many more recent clarinets, perhaps aided by the included Vandoren M30 mouthpiece.  Also includes a ligature, cap, and new swab. Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  Comes in the pouchette-style case in very good condition.  One of the nicest R13’s you’ll see from the early 60’s, and at more than $2,000 less than new!
