Vintage 1967 Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in nickel.  It is in excellent condition:  grenadilla body is a nice, straight grain with no chips, cracks or repairs.  Nickel about 98% with just the very lightest wear.  Best of all, it has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, and repadded in the traditional manner with Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double bladder, pressed felt pads on the lower and Ferree’s premium cork on the upper.  Plays with an open feel and a big, dark tone with good intonation across the entire instrument.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a ReedMate humidifier with four reeds, Selmer mouthpiece, cap, ligature, mouthpiece moisture protector, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and new SuperSlick chamois bore swab.  All in an excellent ProTec case with zippered pocket—and if pink’s not your vibe, we have lots of other cases available.  A great R13 in great condition at about $2,500 less than new, and just in time for a new school year!
