Vintage 1975 Bach Stradivarius 180S37T Trumpet

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale!  This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Bb trumpet in silver.  S/n 882XX makes this 1975—a vintage horn from a great period.  It is in excellent playing condition but does have lots of cosemetic wear:  general worn plating which is pretty much covered by the brand new ProTec six-point leather valve guard, and scattered small dings and imperfections from past dent removals.  Unlike most of the trumpets you may be looking at, however, this one is just through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, hand polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, stop rod bumper, water key cork and piston felts installed.  This horn also includes the optional first-valve trigger.  Valves work fine with very good compression, all tuning slides are free including the usually-stuck third-valve dump slide.  Valve oil and slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a bunch of extras:  cleaning snake, mouthpiece and valve brushes, cleaning rod, Bach 5C mouthpiece, Jupiter 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and straight mute.  All in the vintage Bach hard case with a slight valve oil smell, but in good structural condition with one key.  A great trumpet for someone who wants that 70’s feel and sound, or a student who needs a fully serviced, great playing professional horn without spending two grand!
