Vintage Bettoney Three-Star Metal Clarinet

Here’s a fun clarinet for you!  Cundy-Bettoney Three-Star, Made In the USA.  S/n 7535J.  Metal clarinets are not uncommon, but finding one which is playable, just hand-polished and with all new pads is almost impossible!  Fun to play, kinda clunky like you’d expect from a metal student horn, but perfect to inspire and bewilder your students and woodwind mates.  I like to keep a few of these around for conversation when kids come to the shop, in the band room for kids to play with, to donate to the band boosters fundraiser, and just to look pretty on the mantel.  Includes case, mouthpiece, ligature, and lyre.  A great way to increase your students’ curiousity, awareness, and love for music and musical instruments!
