Vintage Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet W/ Ferree's Overhaul

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in silver plate. S/n 206XXX makes it 1980, a nice, vintage instrument from a great period in Buffet’s history. It is in exceptional condition:  silver plated rather than nickel (currently a $671 upgrade!) about 99.9% intact with little if any wear at all.  Wood is a great billet of aged grenadilla with no chips, cracks or repairs and squared tenons with no wobble between joints.  Just through the shop where it was disassembled, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, and repadded with all new Ferree’s double bladder, pressed felts premium pads.  Plays delightfully from top to bottom with a dark, centered tone and crisp feel to the keywork. Includes a new ProTec microfiber cloth, new SuperSlick chamois swab, and note that we have hundreds of new and vintage mouthpieces for sale separately.  All in a very nice Buffet pochette case.  Sells new at M&A for $4,871, so snatch this one up in amazing condition from a great year, and still save more than $2,800!
