Vintage Buffet Crampon R14 Clarinet--R13 W/ Extra Key, Overhauled, Nice!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a hard-to-find Buffet Crampon R14 Bb clarinet—the standard R13 with an added forked Eb mechanism to allow you one more alternate fingering for some of those crazier passages, and bragging rights over the rest of the clarinet section.  It is in excellent condition:  Wood is an aged, vintage billet of grenadilla with a nice, tight grain and no chips, cracks or repairs. Tenons are square with no wobble between joints. Nickely plating about 99% with little wear at all.  Just completely disassembled, cleaned, bore and body oiled with sweet almond oil, polished, new tenon corks installed, and repadded with Ferree’s premium cork and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads.  Plays delightfully with a full, warm tone, moderate resistance and excellent projection.  Comes in a vintage Buffet pochette case with zippered cover, or we have dozens of other cases listed separately.  An exceptional horn that rarely shows up on the used market—especially in this condition—and at about $2,500 less than a boring, new R13!
