Vintage Holton Revelation II Silver Trumpet

Holton Revelation II silver trumpet for sale. S/n 1025XX makes it roughly 1929, just a couple years after it was introduced. Excellent condition with very little plating wear, but it looks like there’s a lacquer coating (?) over the finish which is wearing a bit. No significant dents or dings, no signs of repair. Somehow the third-valve finger ring got twisted—no clue how that could be done accidentally, but equally no clue why one would do it purposefully.  Original phosphor-bronze valve pistons.  Plays decently; not as tight as a brand-new horn, but still a good, usable instrument.  All tuning slides free.  Just cleaned, polished, lubed, and had new water key cork installed. Includes mouthpiece and case.  A fun horn to play, display, or demonstrate to your students who think “Big Band” means “three electric guitars.”
