Vintage Penzel-Mueller A clarinet

Vintage Penzel-Mueller low-pitch A clarinet for sale!  Marked “A” and “LP” on all joints.  This was a pro horn, not a beginner horn like all the Bb’s you see around:  note the RH pinky key rollers, LH E/Eb mechanism, and the auxiliary LH Eb/Ab key!  Pinned and sealed crack in the upper joint, but in general the wood is in good condition, rehydrated over several weeks in our shop.  Very little wear to the keywork.  Just repadded and recorked.  Plays well across all registers, has some intonation issues common to the era, and you’d want to tweak some key heights and such if this were your main A.  Would be perfect as an intermediate horn or backup A, and is doggone fun to play with the extra keys!
