Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS Silver Trumpet W/ Gold Brass Bell

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Yamaha Xeno model YTR-8335RGS Bb trumpet in silver plate. It has a couple of upgrades from the typical Xeno:  reversed leadpipe for a more open, free-blowing feel, and the gold brass bell for a rich, broad, expansive tone compared to the standard yellow brass.  It would be Yamaha’s equivalent to the Bach Stradivarius LR180S37G.  It is in excellent condition: silver plate about 95% with a little wear around the valves as seen in the photos, which is mostly covered by the included Leather Specialties valve guard.  Some tiny, scattered imperfections from past dent removals, and dents at the end of the third-valve slide which we chose not to repair since the leak detector confirms that there are no leaks in the tubing, and there is some risk that removing the dents will create some.  Just through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, hand polished, lubed, and had new water key cork, tuning slide O-rings, and piston felts installed. Valves are fast and smooth with excellent compression—in fact looking like they’ve hardly been used at all. Plays beautifully with great intonation and an easily accessible upper register.  All tuning slides are free.  Tuning slide grease and valve oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth and the mentioned leather valve guard. All in the very nice Xeno Custom hard vase with very minor wear and plenty of room for mutes, stands and other accessories.  The best Xeno Yamaha ever made, and hard to find on the used market!
