Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS Silver Trumpet W/ Reversed Leadpipe

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Yamaha Xeno model YTR-8335RGS Bb trumpet in silver plate. It has a couple of upgrades from the typical Xeno:  reversed leadpipe for a more open, free-blowing feel, and the gold brass bell for a rich, broad, expansive tone compared to the standard yellow brass. It would be Yamaha’s equivalent to the Bach Stradivarius LR180S37G. It is in very good condition:  silver plate about 97% with a very little bit of wear mostly high up on the valve casings and under the bell at the valve casings where it’s very hard to see. Some very small dings and imperfections left over from past dent removals, mostly on the bell right near the first valve, and more at the end of the third valve tuning slide where it’s really hard to reach with a dent tool unless you take the crook off, which could be done without too much trouble. It is—as you can see in the photos—a great-looking instrument which will dazzle the judges during competitions.  Just through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had new water key cork, piston felts and tuning slide O-rings installed. Valves are fast and smooth with excellent compression. All tuning slides are free. Plays beautifully with great intonation and an easily-accessible upper register.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a cleaning snake, a new ProTec microfiber cloth and a new ProTec leather finger protector. Comes in the Yamaha Custom double case with room for your C trumpet, your practice trumpet, or lots of mutes, stands and other accessories.  The case has a moderate smell of valve oil which will probably fade with time.
